First, I would like to say there is no such thing as "best" when it comes to detailing. Having said that you haven't told anyone what you prefer in a tire dressing. Do you like your tires REALLY shiney or perhaps a more natural look? Is easy to apply important? Do you prefer gel or spray? There are a lot of personal preferences that come into play here.

I prefer a tire dressing that makes the tires REALLY shiney and I prefer tire gels to sprays as I believe they make less mess but everyone has different opinoins. Due to my personal preferences, I like to use Meguiar's Endurance High Gloss Tire Gel. It lasts long enough to satisfy my tastes, makes the tires REALLY shiney, and is easy to apply. Sometimes I do get a little sling if I don't wipe it off well, but it's mostly in places you wouldn't notice it too quickly.

Most tire dressings generally speaking are pretty decent. Most of the rubber protectants which would have harmed your car have since been reformulated and are now good protectants. It's important to clean your tires as well as protect them or the sidewalls will turn brown.

Yes, I like Mothers Tire Shine. It gave me a nice glossy shine. I wiped it on and wiped it off and I got no "sling". So thats what makes me prefer Mothers tire shine. (I hope this is more suitable)

I went through every tire shine i could buy. I used the Meg's Endurance gel for a while. Now I use plain ol' 303. Wipe it on, wipe it off and it leaves tires clean, black, and not too shiny without sling.

Sorry about that. I read a lot of detailing websites so I see a lot of these "what is the best XXXX?" threads.

To me it's like asking "what is the best flavor of ice cream?" There's really no wrong answer to the question and everyone you ask will likely give you a different answer.

Spray on,not greasy.does not run,lasts for days)not weeks)and very shiny.

I used Black Magic Tire Wet for my Tires. It can be purchased at Autozone for like $7. It worked very good. Do you want to see before and after pics?

Meguiar's high gloss tire protection gel is my favorite. I apply two coats every month or 6 weeks (depending on my laziness) and it looks great.

"the best" tire shine is what you think looks good on YOUR tires.

I would add too that a given tire dressing will look different on different tires. I can apply XYZ brand to my Brigestones and get a different "shine" than the Goodyears on my wife's car.

PS - Don't laugh but I really like Target's Vroom tire dressing. For me it gives the bright sheen that I like on my tires.
