quick detailer is your friend. That combined with good MF towels will help keep the car looking good. QD isnt meant for heavily soiled areas, but light dirt, bird doodoo and bugs its good for.

Meguiars qd's are decent for OTC. Some other ones to try if ordering online would be Chemical Guys, Werkstat, Optimum, and Meg's Last Touch. My favorite towel to use for QD is Tropi-Care Grey MF towels.

Oh ok yea i have meguiars qd i just thought that if i did that would that not rub around the dirt against the paint and cause scrathces? Here in FL we have alot of sand and tends to get on the cars a thin layer nothing heavy though

you could use optimum no rinse. i know its still washing the car, but if you want to do a quick wash, and dont need to drag the hose out to do it, this stuff works great.

i use optimum no rinse for my washes, since i live in an apt. complex and dont have access to a hose. i also use it as a QD and like it alot.

most important thing is to use a light touch with whatever method you use, and use good quality MF towels.

i have ordered a pump garden sprayer << like that one, and plan to use if for the wheels and for a quick pre-rinse to remove dirt before i use the ONR.

I would use a "California" type duster first to flick off any grit prior to using the MF towel and QD spray. After cleaning, keep a car cover on to prevent further dirt/dust from accumulating.

Nice i to live in a Apt but we have our own car port here with a house and vacum to use. I just hate seeing the car dirty the next day after i spent 3 hours on it the day before. but i am a wacko i need to order more of those uber microfiber towels i got one in the mail today so nice i have only used cheap ones before i love these towels. Oh also do u guys wash the towels after every use even if they did not get dirty looking. Like i cleaned my interior with the new towel on the seats and interior suede and should i clean it now or is it ok to use towels more than once before washing. I'm thinking they should be cleaned.
