Default Cam Spray Foamer

This space reserved for future FOAM CANNON review. Hopefully weather will cooperate so that I can give this thing a try either Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.

Just got the foam cannon in . . . initial impressions . . . it's smaller than I pictured. It is nice as it has a knob to adjust how much soap is used and another adjustment for spray pattern. The soap bottle is REALLY small though. I'm guessing I'll have to fill it a couple times and will eventually replace it with a larger bottle.

I'm really excited about this product. My brief flirtation with the foam gun made washing the car a lot more fun (and a bit more of a spectacle). So, I anticipate this will be even better.

If I have time to swing by Lowe's tomorrow to buy a new pick up tube then I'll set it up with a larger bottle. The bottle it comes with is probably around 16 oz. The bottle on my foam was biggeer and I would need to fill it twice to do my whole car including cleaning the wheels/tires/wells.

Well, the bottle on the Cam Spray just looks like it is just going to be too small. It might only be 16 oz. So, I decided to replace it with a 32 oz. bottle. So, here it goes . . . modding the wash & wax way!!

The subject (already modded with some teflon tape on the threads) . . .

The supplies (a replacement pick up tube and a 32 oz. spray bottle) . . .

Really easy mod. All I did was pull off the old pick up tube (too short), cut the new one to size, pop on the new pick up tube, and screw on the new bottle. This leaves me with my new 32 oz. FOAM CANNON . . .

The whole mod cost maybe $8. It rained on & off on Friday. So, I haven't been able to try it out yet. I'm hoping to give it a whirl in the morning though.

Good job dude! Where did you get the replacement bottle from and pick-up line? I want to be able to foam wash my car in the winter and get it clean without touching it. That is my goal for the winter.

Sorry but that's impossible.

I don't see why not. On my old Camaro SS I had over 30 coats of Zaino on my car and the water would barely stay on. It got to a point where there was nothing to dry once I was finished washing. I would just take a leaf blower and go around the car to get the water out from the nooks and crannies. It was great.

I figure with this foam cannon and pressure washer....with enough Zaino polish on my S, I can achieve the same result with no hand washing or very minimal touching at all.
