interesting question...

never tried that. i would think that the soaps might break down the autoglym.
also, not sure that autoglym watered down would work well.
autoglym is a great product-
if you try this, post back what you think.

i think you are reading it too literally...
they mean use it in the wash process- not in the wash water!
but, again you can give this a try- and let us know how it work if you do-

i have used it before washing (gotta be careful to avoid swirls when doing this), but usually wash the car, then autoglym the areas that need it. then rewax.

i'm just going to add it to the water... this way i hope it stays in liquid form and can just rinse off with water. i'll let everybody know this weekend.

Give it a try. I would think it would be too diluted to be effective though if you put it in a bucket with a couple gallons of water.

DONT DO IT!!!

What are you wanting to achieve from this?

I use a lot of AutoGlym products, the intensive tar remover will remove everything from your paint work. Bugs, tar, polish/wax ect. The Autoglym shampoo will not strip Autoglym polish from the car and has water softners in it along with rust inhibiters.

I would only use the Tar remover along the same lines as clay baring and then wax/polish the area you have treat.

I agree with the poster above. Good results are not usually achieved with a short cut.

Maybe you will get bugs/tar quickly removed but at what cost? You will be exposing the plastic and rubber pieces to this product which would not be advised.
