Default Car cover question

I just purchased an S and will be parking it outside at work. I was wondering if I am better off with a car cover or is there something I can put on the SoftTop to successfully protect from UV rays.

Thanks,

303 spray works well on the top. You can order it online or get it at any local marine/boat supply store. Our tops are made of PVC so they are pretty hardy, or should I say hardy-er than real cloth.

a cover will protect the entire car- protecting the top is important, but will not protect the rest of the car...
bird poo, environmental stuff, etc. can be kept off of the car with a cover-

Do you have a specific cover you recommend ? I was looking at the following one

http://64.225.94.154/ShopSite/page87.html

I like the last one down on the page but it only covers the top.

Thanks,

Mine sets outside all day so I use a car cover from California Car Cover. It acts like a portable garage. Prevents door dents, scratchs and protects it against the Arizona weather.

OEM is the way to go. Very soft, and causes no damage to the paint...I cant say the same for others. Also, you cannot use a cover if you park on the street....unless it has little windows for both license plates, and the registration/vin area.

Ok thanks for the feeback. I am in Arizona so I really only care about the Sun when it sits out at work.
