Default Cement cleaning help

My wife has just informed me (b/c she knows I am going to clean the car today) that she ran through a big mound of cement the other day. The area was wet, but the cement was a powder.

You can guess what is now stuck to the bottom sides of my car now I tried just spraying water, but its still there when the water dries. I am afraid of totally scratching the paint as this stuff feels very abrasive. Its also white now in the wheel wells on the passenger side f and r.

Anybody got any ideas how I can make the best of this. I have already yelled her (wife) and that didnt seem to help much.

Any OTHER ideas...

Unless somebody comes up with a better idea, consider this: Muriatic acid (hydrochloric) has long been used as a cement floor cleaner. Get some and dilute it to less than 0.5% (if the acid starts at say, 10% then dilute it another 20 fold) and use a cloth soaked in it to gently wipe the areas involved have a garden hose handy to rinse it off after each application. If this seems to be working with no ill effects but you'd like it a little more effectively, try more concentrated solution. Of course the wheel well can take it but just be careful on the painted areas. You won't need gloves with 0.5% unless you hand very sensitive skin.

Ouch...sorry to hear that man, and good luck with getting that out, it's not going to be an easy task (sorry, I can't give any helpful advice).

clay... try claying the car, it would probably would as the cement shouldn't ahve set on the paint if you had a coat of wax on there before.
