Default Claybar'ing for the first time

Hello, I plan on claybaring my car for the first time this weekend and am looking for some advice. What brand of claybar do you like? Are there any special methods that you use with the claybar? I have never done this before so any advice you have would be helpfull. Thanks!

Also I heard that you use water when applying this to the car? How does that work?

will find a good article for you and post it back...
i like to wash the car and clay while its still wet - then wash again.
sometimes i wash it then detail spray the areas that i am claying-

I've also put a few drops of dishsoap in a spray bottle and used it has a lubricant for the clay. It'll strip wax, but that shouldn't be a concern anyway if you're claying. I just bought some Pinnacle clay. It was expensive, but it came with 3 huge pieces and a nice jar that seals and keeps it fresh.

Here's a tip: Leave the car wet after the first washing, it helps the lubricant go a lot further. Also, don't let the clay get too cold, it's pain to work with that way.

I used a QEW mix in a spray bottle this weekend as the lube when I clayed and it worked great.
