Default Cleaning the dash

I am looking for something good to clean/shine the dash on a MY02. Is the material vinyl???, I normally use leather cleaner for the seats, the shift boot and the steering wheel and armor all wipes on the vinyl on different area in the interior. What the heck should I use on the dash?? I did a test on a small area with armor all, but it made it look dull??---any suggestions?

yup, its vinyl...
best choices, imo:
vinylex
or
303

you can make the dash shiny or matte depending on how many coats you use on it and how you buff it off.
--------
for your leather, dont forget to use a preservative after your leather cleaner... its a two step process.

thanks wanabe...

I usually use the leather conditioner as well as the cleaner and it works good and makes the interior smell new

sort of a strainge question about application, but what do people use to apply the 303? papertowels seem to leave streaks on the dash, and some towels leave lint (or do you recommend microfiber towels for the dash?)

also, for obvious reasons, i don't apply anything to the steering wheel grip, but what about the center (airbag area)? Lexol? 303?

paper- no way
mfs are great
i like mf pads (mf around a cushioned pad)

303 on the mid part of the steering wheel.

(my first choice is vinylex, 2nd choice is 303)

Recently did my dash/interior with 303. Result On blue interior has deepened the colour and not reflective.

Applied using a small amount of 303 sprayed directly onto the corner of a sponge and wiped over areas as required.(not at all messy this way and avoided glass etc.

Wiped off with cotton cloth.

Great result.
