Just out of curiosity, what's the benefit of using a real vinyl cleaner? I usually just use a wet rag to get rid of all the dust, is there anything wrong with that? Also, has anyone tried using the Zaino Tire Gloss on the dash (it says it's appropriate for vinyl)?

I use the Swiffer wipes to remove dust. They work great! I don't know about the tire gloss, but the Zaino representative at S2K Days said we could use the Z6 on the dash because it has UV protectant in it.....I would assume you can also use the tire gloss but you might want to email Sal about that

I think the only advantage to a good 'vinyl cleaner' would be UV protection ... I generally just wipe off the dash with a wet rag ... and occasionally put some 303 on for the UV protection.

I just bought meguair's plastic/vinyl protectant as well. Works well for me. I think their only advantage is it's UV protection.
