Plexus works very well. The problem is that you need to have joints in your body where you don't have joints, to get to the inside of the back window. Of course, you already knew that.

Plexus does a good job of cleaning the plastic window, but doesn't do anything for scratches. Polishing the inside of the rear window is not something that I'm looking forward to at all.

For most of the cleaning, I use a microfiber towel and tap water. This works very well and doesn't cost anything. When the window starts to look a bit foggy, I break out the Plexus and make it very clear again.

Hope this helps,
Bob

Lower the aeroscreen and kneel in the drivers seat and have at it. It's not too bad for me, but I got long arms and can reach the corners.

Coming from a previous owner of a '00 and having one of the clearest, cleanest plastic windows around, I can tell you the easiest way to clean is by using a soft applicator pad with a small amount of wax. While I use and prefer Zaino, you could also use Meguiars.

This is much easier to apply and buffing it is painless. No smears, streaks and it will look fantastic.

Remove the "aeroscreen" piece of useless afterthought chunk of lexan crap, and you will have access to the rear window, the rear well, and no more questions from every person that sees your car and says: "What is that?". No pm please. I am not offering the "screen" for sale. It is in the hall closet deflecting wind just as well there. I will keep it in case I ever sell the car.

It never did flip down. It would go about 45 degrees backward. Still just a useless barrier to me. I saw that thread about Ptown. Any idea when and whereabouts you'll be? I'm in process of construction here (finally a garage!!!) so don't know if I'll have any real time, but would like to drop by if you guys have a plan for a lunch stop or some such. No shopping please. Shopping is a necessity, not a pastime.
