Cleaning inside of plastic window
Cleaning inside of plastic rear window:
First, my windscreen does fold all the way down, and any that do not are defective and should be taken back to the dealer within the warranty period.
Second, the first step should be to simply wipe the rear window with a soft cloth soaked in water and rung out. Wipe dry with dry soft colth. That failing, go to step three.
Third, get some non abrasive Carnauba liquid cleaner wax. Appply it with a soft, wet cloth, and wipe it off with a soft cloth before it dries. That worked for me.
By the way, the contortions needed to do this are caused by the "roll bars" behind the headrests more than the flip down wind screen.
Hope this helps, Richard

To help avoid most of the contortions, I've purchased something designed for this (or activities like it). It is advertised as "a window and surface cleaning system for those hard to reach areas". It works, and works well for me.
Go to www.griotsgarage.com and look for "Window Cleaner Set". The product number is 90247 and sells for $22.95.
1) I'm in no way connected with Griot's Garage or this product
2) I got this original information from another helpful S2KI member in September.
Happy cleaning.
