Default Cleaning inside of windows...

cant seem to get my front/rear spotless inside..

what do you guys use and what do you use to wipe with

im using the lintless paper towel from autozone and invisible glass and also 20/20.

neither seem to give me the perfect clean.

riley- sure its on the inside?
trick is to wipe up / down on inside and side to side on outside so you can really see where the problem is.

after you clean it good (your products should be fine), take a clean m/f towel and buff it down really well.
some guys like newspaper for the towel part-
any case, the final buff is the trick... then report back!!

newspapers scratch the tint(last car realized)
i have microfiber cloth for my watches.. i might try it.. cant hurt.. microfiber kicks ass for cleaning idk why i didnt think of that earlier.

the outside front has pits and scratches from wipers/debris.. but thats not it.. its mostly marks from wiping. ima wait till its cool outside (105* now) and retry w/ microfiber...we shall se.. also.. front rear view pops off right? i was going to try but didnt want to break it.

Avoid using paper products on plastic (tint). Newspaper works wonders for the exterior surface of glass however.
There is a new micro-fiber towel made specifically for glass and it works excellent on the tint as well. I can't think of the name of it, but it isn't the yellow micro-fiber towels found at Costco. These are smoother and are colored bright green and foam blue. I found them at Auto Zone and am very pleased with the results.

yeah the foam blue are the ones i have.. they were "ok"

i ended up using some OR scrubs i have (high quality microfiber material) on them.. and it worked perfectly.. problem was i think the towel was too smal.. cleaning small section then since very small surface area moved dirt around.. whereas the OR scrubs had ALOT of surface area.. enough to grab to dirt and hold

I use just a dry, clean MF towel... no products at all on it. Just buff the window with it. It works great and never leaves any streaks.

When you say OR towels are you referring to surgical huck towels? Those are pretty popular for window cleaning.

Any window cleaner is fine as long as it doesn't contain ammonia. Some of my personal favorites are Sprayway Glass Cleaner, Meguiar's NXT Glass Cleaner, and Stoner's Invisible Glass. Plexus is a plastic cleaner/protectant and also does a great job cleaning tint.

Oh. OR scrubs. I would try a Microfiber Waffle Weave towel like the Cobra Glass Towel. In my experience they are the most effective type of towel to use on glass.
