Default Cleaning up my rear plastic window.

Just got the car, has only 21,500km's on it but god that rear plastic looked horrid and I knew i had to fix it up for spring time here. Went out, bought meguiars plastx, a good micro cloth and i had another one at home.

Learnt its a bitch to even get at the windown from the inside :S

But, these results came with only 20 mins of quick work!

Same stuff I used. And yes, getting at the window from the inside does suck royally! But my results were awesome too. Except for the compound that gets stuck to the trim around the window.

Good job

I noticed the center section has those scratch marks, mines does too, and that's the only thing plastX can't get off, well at least by hand...............

I'm sure it will just take some more time. That's the area that gets the most scratches, from the way it folds down.

I've had a Muz-mat since it initially came out and it is worth the investment. Shipping is super-fast from Australia. They were much cheaper when the $ was a little stronger, but that is another issue.

I also put a rolled-up towel in the fold as the roof is put down, like wanabe, and it really keeps the window in good shape.
