Hello- I have a real nice smudge in my S2000 hood from a soccer ball. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the clearcoat scratches out?

can you believe it, I drive past a park and I am in the wrong place at the wrong time with a misplaced kicked soccer ball!

happened to me too!
after i had the car for a couple of months, saw the ball launched and could tell it would land in my lane, but had a car on my tail so i could not brake fast enough. took the ball on the top side of the fender- i 3m'd and polished. my scratches went into the paint so if you look closely you can still see them (no one else would notice!).
