Default creeper

Where do you guys get these "creepers". I don't detail my car at home so need to fit everything in the trunk. Looking for a small/lightweight creeper. Better yet, has anyone seen a space saving collapsable one?

You mean a chair creeper, or a board creeper?

In any case.....I have these and LOVE EM!

This is is EXTREMELY comfortable.

Craftsman 51108 Creeper Seat

Expensive, but great for detailing....since you can kneel on it...

Racatac 01RAC

Basic, cheap, but gets the job done.

Craftsman 51167 Creeper

As far as undercar creepers go, this is the most comfotable one Ive ever used...
Shop around though, they can be had for WAY less at other online stores (the bone that is)

absolutely one of my fav "tools"!!
i used to use a carpet that i moved around the car and sat on, many years ago... then broke down and bought a creeper that you sit on (and it has a shelf for products)-
man its the best for doing wheels, exhaust, under car, etc.
have not seen a collapsible one- but mine is pretty small.
got it a few years ago and dont remember where-
it was not expensive and you can prob tell that it would be my strong suggestion that you get one!

this is not the one i have, and i am not recommending it, but just shows the style:

It looks exactly like the craftsman, which I recommend....its HIGHLY comfortable. The one you can kneel on is even better...especially for doing really low things, like wheels, lips, etc etc.

Thanks.
I was talking about a small rolling stool. Someone needs to make a collasable one, as my trunk is already stuffed on my detail days.

Get some casters that can be mounted to the bottom of the passenger seat rails. Then you can convert that into a rolling seat.

Patent Pending...

Just as long as you don't make any money off of it you're good with me.

...but seriously, go ahead and market it. I don't really care.

My only complaint about seats like this . . .

is that they are too high off the ground for detailing the lower parts of the car. Griot's was selling a seat very similar to this one, but much lower to the ground. I would have bought it, but they were asking some outrageous price (why was I surprised it's Griots!!).
