Crystal Guard
A friend of mine asked me a few minutes ago about a product that replaces wax called crystal guard. Ive never heard of it so Im hoping for some input here. www.crystalguard.com
it is a product intended to be a long term paint protection system (like a long-term wax)...
we have discussed this several times- most recently a couple days ago.
i will search for the most recent thread and post the link back here...

my answer is a bit over half way down this thread- discussion about honda touch of class (also a long-term protection product):

(the short summary is that any long-term protection has a problem if you are going to really care for the finish by removing swirls and small scratches regularly- every year or even every other year. such polishing will also remove most or all of any of these long-term products).

Rediculously expensive and it doesn't last like they say it does. The problem i have with this product is that it is marketed as a car dealer profit center. Some car dealers charge $500-$700 for lifetime protection on that car.
