Default Curb Rash

I let my wife drive the S for the first time and now I have a right real wheel with serious curb rash. Can this be smoothed down?

Do I have to buy a new wheel?

Any advice is appreciated.

do not need a new wheel, but might need a wheel repair...
there are shops that specialize in this-

i suggest that you post up in your local forum (on this board) to see if locals in your area know of a place to get this done.

i used the "messed up" wheels excuse to get new wheels all around on my car- but you can have them repaired!!

Funny, this happened to me. Except it was my mother who did it. She's paying for the repair; I just have to find a local place.

Rimedies is a franchise that may do it in you area.

I think the bumper is a "chalk it up to bad luck" kind of thing. Maybe have a body shot give you an estimate?

With the car being so low to the ground, how do you guys avoid bumper dings and pitting Am I expecting too much?

The day I got my Silverstone MY2000 I scraped the bottom of the bumper at Circle K. Just remember that the car is VERY small, and you have regular sized parking spaces...use all of the space to avoid the front bumper hitting things.
