Dent removal
I've got a ~6" horizontal dent on the body below the passenger door--what is the best way to have the dent removed? I know some dent removal services heat the metal and I'm not sure if this will work because the body seems to be coated with some kind of plastic down there.
Also, any recommendations on reputable shops in the bay area would be much appreciated.

I also have a Berlina black S2k, Black reflects light back @you so your gonna have to be EXTREMELY careful in the future to avoid any further denting, scratches, dings, etc... Park your car 50 miles away from everyone else, now and again you'll get some a$$ that wants to check your car out and will park next to you no matter how far you park, however this is still better than parking near all the "Other" cars.
Several places do "Touchless" dent removal, I am not sure of the exact process, however I had it done on a similar dent when I first bought the car and it looks perfect, I can't tell it was ever there...
Goodluck!!
PS,
Black S2k's are thee most wicked

I just had a 4" dent repaired to perfection by Dent Wizard. It was in my right rear quarter panel. Info on their process can be found on their website. I'm in NJ, so I'm not sure if they are out in CA. When I was there, there was a Porsche, a Ferrari and a BMW getting repaired, so they are used to working on cars that people care about. (At least the one near me.)
