Dewalt 18v
Hey guys I was wondering if my 18V Dewalt Drill would work with buffing my car? I purchased a high quality polishing pad would this work on my car? Do I keep it somewhat wet or dry while using meguires polish?
Basically am I crazy to use my drill, I cannot afford the $200 porter cable right now.

Problem with the drill is, even pressure isn't there because of the base even if you think it there is.
- Now with four inch pads, that have more bite, spin faster, and drill that unlike a DA has no protection against heavy/uneven pressure?
One hell of a recipe for disaster.

To do a whole car wait till you got the money for a porter cable or try to make friends with someone who has one

I think the thing would bounce around all over the car and be a huge hassle to use. I tried a 3M headlight kit not too long ago, which uses a drill, and I hated it.
