The stuff I use runs off the top as much as two or three washings if to much is applied.Kind of a fine line as to when to say when.

Thanks to everyone who's replied. I also appreciate the tips on application and frequency.

The 303 does wash away over time, but gives a deeper black appearance. Very nice. I'm not sure how others avoid it (garages?) because it has to run off somewhere, and for me it's been down the windows also.

303 makes your top look like a pair of bicycle shorts.

My mind can't quite pick up the image so would this be a good thing or a bad thing? And whose butt would be in those shorts?

is it ever too late to use the 303? my top looks a bit faded (6 months with no protectant, just regular wash and rinse). will this 303 restore it and bring it back to a deeper black? or should i not bother at this point?

303 will restore the like-new look to the top.

Be sure to use it on all the seals too, works nicer than silicone in my opinion.

6 months without protectant doesn't sound too bad. But if there was any deterioration from the sun, you won't reverse it.

BTW, I used a high quality paint brush to apply it the last time. I think this uses too much 303, compared to a sponge. The sponge can leave little pieces that break off, but once the 303 dries it's easy to lightly brush off.

xviper, I still haven't figured out how to respond to your question, sorry!

I was "rhetorical" and in gest. No response required.
Once I've finished my low-gloss ArmourAll, I'm gonna give the 303 a try. One of my buds here seems to love the stuff.
