Default Does Simple Green remove Zaino?

So, I had some tape residue from some autocross numbers in my doors, and some black greasy marks by the front tires. I used Simple Green to get them off, and it worked great.

My question is: does Simple Green remove Zaino? I have 4 coats of Zaino on, and if the SG removed it, I'm gonna have to put it back on in those spots.

Anybody know?

thanks,

From their website

"It will remove anything from road dirt and bugs to built-up grease, oil, brake dust, lubricants, fluids and other petroleum-based substances."

I'd take that as a yes.

well, it doesn't look like it took off the Zaino.

I thought Zaino only came off with alcohol. (like a "nice" girl's clothes )

Well, Zaino isn't road dirt, bugs, grease, oil, brake dust, lubricant, fluid, or petroleum-based. So maybe not. But it won't hurt to add a bit to those areas.

Well it IS an alkaline based aqueous cleaning solution with a PH that matches brake fluids. Most people think bio-degradable means harmless. I've seen it etch single stage paint on an overspray. I'd wash that area and reapply Zaino.

sal zaino's reply to your question
(i emailed it to him and this was his response):

"Depending on how much Simple Green you used...
Simple Green is extremely harsh and a small amount will not remove Zaino.... but it will degrade the Zaino.
Just reapply some Zaino in those areas to be sure... "
