Drought
Wash and wax it while you can. Then get a California Car Duster, some quick detailing spray and some microfiber towels. You will be amazed how long you can keep the car looking good this way. As long as it doesn't get wet or muddy, you won't need to wash it. Just lightly dust the car, don't scrub it with the duster. Otherwise, you can scratch the finish. I have used the duster for a long time and it doesn't scratch the finish if you very lightly dust the car.
Don't worry, it will be OK,
Bob
PS...With all of the rain that we have been getting here in Indiana, I washed my car three times last week. I don't like it dirty either.

Jim, I'm nearby you, and feel your pain.
My poor S is now a nice metallic green thanks to the 2449 Tree pollen count!
My Zaino should show up today or tomorrow. It'll be my first washing of it, and I've gotten myself convinced I'm going to scratch it or worse (I wear hearing aids -- water is the enemy).
Now that I think of it, I haven't hand washed a car since I was a kid. I wouldn't mind a co-pilot.
I'm shooting for Sunday. Want to come into the confederacy for a Zaino party? No water restrictions in NoVa yet...
