eagle one nanowax
we have had several reviews here...
but none recently!
try it on your beater and report back- the prior posts either loved it (nice shine and great job filling swirls) or didnt use it again (one guy got "ghosts" that he couldnt get rid of- he attributed it to the nanowax, but i wonder about that). i do not remember what folks thought about the staying power of the swirl fillers.

Sorry wanabe, i didnt see any other reviews on the wax when i searched for it...i went ahead and bought the wax and ill give a review on it tomorrow
we love pics...
and a follow up a few months down the road to report on the staying power would be great if you can do it!
So to update, i used the nanowax on the S...didnt get a chance to take pictures but i can compare it to nxt and zaino since ive used both...
this wax was by far the easiest ive ever used to both apply and remove...hardly any time or effort is needed with this wax
overall, the level of shine is approximately 90% that of several layers of Z2 with Z6 layered in between.
considering the amount of time i spent putting on all that zaino for only a slightly better shine and with cost taken into consideration, i think im going to stick to eagle one. ill post how the wax holds up later on, although the S isnt my daily driver so its not going to sit in the sun for long periods of time, etc so youll have to take it with a grain of salt. even if the wax only lasts as long as in between washings (approx 2 weeks) its so easy to apply and remove that i have no problem waxing right after drying the car.
Wanabe, is there a product that i could put on top of the wax to make up for that 10% percent loss in shine compared to zaino...something similar to Z6, or even Z6 itself?

Eagle One Nanowax, Meguiar's NXT, and Turtle Wax Ultra Gloss are essentially competing products. I tested all three a few months ago, and actually liked the Turtle Wax Ultra Gloss the best -- both in terms of shine and ease of application. On my cars, the NXT was a real bear to buff off. The Nanowax was good, but I liked Ultra Gloss better.
Hope this helps,

Actually I had a different experience with the Nanowax. I am used to Zaino and although I put on a couple of coats of Zaino it is still easier and less time consuming than the Nanowax.
I used dishsoap to cut the old wax before applying the Nanowax just as I do the first time I Zaino each year. On the rougher (older) surface of my Pickup the Nanowax was even worse.
The Nanowax doesn't seem to cover as smoothly as does the Zaino so it needs 2 coats. I like the fact that it doesn't leave a white residue but it failed the Towel Test miserably.
I can throw a towel anywhere on my car after using Zaino and it will not stay on the car, it will slide off no matter where it it. With the Nanowax it was like it had brakes which says the surface isn't as smooth.
I object to the Zaino marketing scheme so I have been looking for an alternative. I liked the marketing about the nano sized particles but I am not convinced it works as the pictures show.
I will see how long it lasts and then on to a different product in my search for something to beat the Zaino.
