how do i clean my engine, it look like a tornado just hit it.

thanks alot guys, would it be wise to unplug the battery ? also Where are all the electrical connection in our car beside the fuse box?

(i think that is a pic of a tornado)

dont have to disconnect the battery-
you dont need an extreme amount of water.
the main places you want to be careful around are alternator and air intake- thread above has the details...

as for the tornado- that one you are on your own!!

thanks for all the link, read them all and greatly appreciate it. I will attempt this on saturday morning. I will post pics as i have all sort of things in my engine bay such as leafs. Probably one of the worst engine you will see >.< Thanks guy.

p.s. can i use the degreaser on the top of my hood? Or should i just use regular car wash soap for that?
