Default First time getting my hands on my new S

So the S had some pretty bad swirl marks. I got a majority of them out, and she looks great.

Bath time and removing old wax.

All taped off.

Clay bar time

Clayed the hood. Looking good.

All done. This was after a polish and a wax.

This took about 9 hours to do. Only reason it took that long is it had a ton of crap in the paint and took a long time claying it. Going forward I should be able to bang this out in a few hours.

Looks pretty good in the sun.

Hopefully I'll have my own house and garage in the next month or two, cause I need to do a full detail on my car bad!!

it sure did. It felt amazing. Actually even washing it now the paint feels butter smooth. I still have some swirl marks, but can't get rid of those without some serious buffing. I'm not too keen on trying a go at that myself.

If you get a random orbital you'll be fine. Can't really do much damage with one.

When I did my S for the first time last year, I had never used one. Car came out really nice. The next time I do it, things will go much faster! Only one way to learn!
