Default first time waxing

so I decided I want to wax my car before I leave, I never did this on my RSX so this is my first time doing it, I didnt do any prep work except washing the car before I waxed it.

I did notice even after letting the wax sit for 30-45 mins it was still kinda tough to get off...did I put too much?

anyways here are 2 pics before my cams battery died, no sun out, just overcast

jeez louise that baby is shining!!

sounds like you mighta gone a bit thick on the wax. what did you use?
but i can also tell that you got it off-

if you used p21s, for example, it wants to be removed immediately. it then cures after your buff it. others begin the cure while they sit on the car. in any case they all want to go on very thin.

my recollection is that is a synthetic with swirl filler cabability...
you apply; let it haze (light application); then buff off.

so my guess is that you went a bit heavier than necessary-
but hey, who cares- look at that baby shine!!

btw, with a shine like that, you cant run around without a wash & wax badge- if you agree, send me a pm and i will hook it up!
