Default First time waxing/claybar

I've never actually waxed or claybar-ed a car before so I figured I'd give it a shot. The paint was all smooth except for the bumper so I only claybar-ed the bumper with the mcguires clay bar and quick detailer and then waxed the car twice over with mcguires gold class wax. First I washed the car, then claybar-ed the bumper, then washed the bumper again, then waxed, waxed again and then dressed the tires with mcguires hot shine. I took a boat load of pictures. This was done by hand so it took me about 4 hours.

looks good! nice reflections! meguiars gold class is about the best bang for the buck OTC wax ive found. i really like the CR lip and wing. im curious though if the benefits from the wing would be negated by putting the top down. hmm...

best way is with the wheels off the car... see our how to in the how to sticky- the one about wheel cleaning.

badge is that thing in my post above that there are two of-
the wash n wax wacko badge. the official sign that you got the wacko disease. there are more badged wacko on s2ki.com than any other group. it identifies you as one of us!
to get one all you gotta do is pm me the request.
