First wash
well I've only had the car since saturday but I decided it was time for its first wash by me. The car is a 2002 BB with red interior and before I bought it it was owned by a man who kept it in his garage almost 24/7 so it was in excellent condition and I plan to keep it that way. Here are some pictures I didn't do anything really at all just a wash and a super dry job for me. This saturday me and a friend with an 08 335i are going to go nuts detailing so I'll have more work to show off then.

Hope you all like it and maybe I can get a wacko badge!

looks good man. You got a color that it kind of rough to keep looking nice, but it is totally worth the extra work since it is such an amazing looking color. Take care man and congrats on the car.

to own a black car takes a certain commitment level. if you're willing to do it - then it's going to look awesome!
congrats on the AP1, i'm sure you'll love it!
what products are you using so far / what method using to wash it? preventing damage to the car is very important as it'll allow the car to barely age over time and will keep it looking good longer. hope to see you around the forum in the future!

What was the milleage on this garage queen? But be careful
you may not be able to stop once you start detailing your S. Mine has 2 layers of sealant and 3 of carnauba
Before you know it you'll be waxing your wheels

well my method of washing is very basic because I don't have all the right tools yet but I am using microfiber towels to soap up the car. I know I should get some kind of mitts but I don't know which kind to get. I am using meguiar's gold class car wash in a bucket of warm water with a rinse bucket. I am drying the car using 100% cotton towels that my dad uses for when he does make up on movies.
I just broke 45k miles on my car today so I would say pretty low mileage for a 7 year old car.
This is my first car with aftermarket wheels and I already find myself stressing over tiny water marks on the wheels.
What do you guys use to clean and dry the wheels? I have no idea.
