FK Pink Wax
I love my GPW s2k, but I find myself dancing around the car, bobbing my head head up , down, and side to side searching to see if i got all of the wax off of the paint. It's also difficult to see if i'm spreading the wax evenly across the surface. I'm hoping a colored wax will help me out. Has anyone tried Finish Kare's Pink Wax? If not, anyone know any other colored waxes?
I use both FK 425 and Pink Wax. Pink Wax is lightly colored but goes on and dries clear... just like every other lightly tinted wax i've used. I don't think they make a wax to do what you are looking for as it would affect the optical clarity of the finish.

Even if a wax is tinted in the can it will dry clear. The best thing you can do is work in an area with good lighting. I don't have good lighting in my garage. So, I often miss a spot of wax here or there.
In an effort to remedy this, if it's possible, I pull the car out into the sun and examine it for spots I may have missed.
Another idea is to keep an MF and some QD in your car. So, when you spot some wax you can remedy it on the spot.
A third solution may be to switch to a "no buff" sealant like Zaino Clear Seal or Optimum Opti-Seal or I think Ultima has one in their line up too. You just apply and let dry. There's no buffing. However, I understand application can be tricky and if not done right can leave smears all over the finish. The smears can usually be cleaned up with some QD from what I've read.
Thanks for the suggestions!
I was hoping to find a wax or other LSP that dried similar to JW's Prime (Polylack). It dries sort of beige and it's easy to see where i need to buff. Of course it's a pain to get it off the car sometimes, but at least i can see i got it all off easily.
I'll try to get some better lighting and more importantly multiple light sources in my garage. Right now there's only a single bulb on the ceiling.
