Default Foam Or MicroFiber Applicator Pad?

So I need another or a few new hand wax applicator pads for my megs wax, and the foam ones like the wax came with seem to be a little harder to find locally. Theres plenty of microfiber pads everywhere ive checked, ive never actually used the microfiber pads myself so i was just wondering if anybody has an opinion on the two or if theres any difference on the way the microfiber ones apply the wax? i really wouldnt think there would be.

I only apply final protectant with a pad and prefer the foam. Product seems to go on easier and the foam pad gets into smaller spaces. I find them easily on most detailing sites and the quality is better and they last longer.

Foam soaks up less product which makes it a huge plus. I use MF applicators for interior stuff and mostly use foam on paint.
