Default Freshly washed

I had a few hours to spare this afternoon so got down to my usual weekly car wash and detail.

Sorry for the crappy pics - this is on a five year old camera that was running out of battery power. I didn't have time (or energy) to go somewhere with great lighting. I'll maybe update these pictures next week with better shots from a better camera.

Anyone have suggestions for setting up good reflections on a white car? I took some the other night in a dark setting and those worked out okay, but for daylight shots it seems a lot more difficult. Do I just need really dark colored objects for the reflection?

Funny you should say that. I prefer the lip style on the rear, but this car had it on already when I bought it.

It's rare and it looks fine, so I'm not inclined to change it out unless it's for a Mugen wing or something....

The rear wing looks pretty good, I'm considering one myself...

It has been raining heavily but it didn't rain yesterday (Saturday). It was a perfect day for outside work - I spent about five hours in the yard and cleaning the cars.

My car looked horrible when I started - mud/dirt everywhere, plus waterspots. No bugs, though! They're all drowned.

Last week, I washed the car between rain showers (literally). I got ready to wash it, then the rain started, then it stopped, and I quickly washed it in about an hour. An hour later, the rain started up again.

Focus on the car! On the CAR!

The yard is actually kind of messy due to all the rain lately.
