Default Garden blowers

At the suggestion of the local Zaino distributor, I used it to help dry my car. It works pretty good. It gets all this water out that I wouldn't be able to get with the absorber. There's all this water under the badges, in the door handles, around the tail lights, mirrors, etc.

This is a very good idea. I've been doing it for a long time. Although I made the mistake of using on a car that either didn't have any Zaino/high quality slick wax or it had crappy wax on it. It didn't work. The water just basically laughed in my face. It would have taken way too long to do without that smooth slick finish.

Do you guys use the blower exclusively, or do you guys use some kind of towel as well?

I use the blower and then clean up the small specks with a 100% cotton towel (cannon/fieldcrest only).

This method takes NO TIME AT ALL!!! Really cool...

Has anyone used their blower to blow the dust off of the car, ie use it instead of a California Car Duster? Just curious.

That doesn't sound like it would work too good. I drive on the fwy all the time at 80mph and I don't see less dust. I see more. I could be wrong.

My brother swears by this method (leaf blower + towel), but I am afraid of sucking up things and shooting my car with debris moving at 100+ mph. If you wash your car in a fairly clean area, I guess it's ok. I usually just open and close the doors a few times and 90% of the water comes out of those nooks and crannies.

I guess it's a matter of which is more important, speed or piece of mind. I usually devote a full afternoon for car washing, so you know where I sit.
