Default Getting oily clouds off of rear plastic window?

Back when I first purchased my car, and being a novice in convertibles, I put protectant on the rear bay plastic where the top folds down into. Now I have this cloudy "stain" in the middle third of my rear window, which I think was just picked up from the protectant I applied in the back. Does anyone know of any way/product to get this stuff off. I can sort of see through it still, but it's really annoying and very bothersome at night (acts like a prism for light). Thanks in advance, guys.

1. put a soft cloth in the top compartment, or get a muz mat
2. use plexus to fix your "stain" (might take a few applications)

Wanabe,

Where can I get plexus at? Just a regular car store, like Pep Boys?

Which is better/the stronger cleaner? Plexus or 3M/Meguiar's products.

Plexus is not a cleaner, it is a polisher. Meguiars #17 is a cleaner. Meguiars also makes #10 which is a polisher.

If you have the oily film caused by heat reacting with the plastics, I have also found that a citrus based cleaner (diluted) works well in getting rid of the grease film. I then use Plexus to shine it.

Meguiars cleaner has abrasives and I have used it only to remove small scratches (which it does well).

Is there a pariticular brand of citrus cleaner you know works well? The only one that comes to my mind is the one you see on TV all the time. I think they sell it in stores now. Is that what you use?

I originally had P21S (expensive). Go to Home Depot, they have it for about $5. since you should dilute it, it will last forever.
