Default got wax on soft top

I did a search and came up with using dawn or peanut butter. So far I have tried:

Car wash soap
303 top cleaner
dawn dish soap

I have used a toothbrush with each. I read peanut butter works but i would like to avoid this. Is there another solution, like a harsher chemical? Any help is appreciated. thanks!

First, I am surprise the 303 cleaner did not do it.

Here is what I would try:
Alcohol (
Mr Clean Magic Eraser
Amazing Roll-off

I had the same problem and have tried several cleaners with no luck.

I finally had it and tonight I went to wal mart and in their car section they had a detailing brush with brass wire for the brush part.

I sprayed with top cleaner and gently went side to side with the brush not putting to much pressure on.

Top is drying right now and the splatter marks appear to be gone.

Hope this helps.

Griot's Garage makes a dried on wax remover. I've never used it, but their other products are pretty good.

Brush helped some but I still have specks on the top.

I will order some of this Griots product and see if that works.

Maybe if I drive real fast on Friday to the SESM the specks will blow off

Thanks.

Not an alum, but grew up in Hialeah during the 80's and 5 national titles.

Travel to about 3 away games per year and go to 1-2 in the OB.

Traveling to FSU, Clemson, VT, and UVA games this year.

Where are you located?

I'm located in the Boston area. The only canes games I ever usually go to are when they BC in football. Otherwise, I don't really travel to games. I'd like to go to homecoming one of these years though. I was back in FL in March for a vacation and I was wishing I had my S to cruse around in w/ the top down.

Hate to break it to you, but I think FSU will pull it out this year.

Sexton is most likely done. Time for Xavier Lee...THE NATURAL!

Saw him work out last week. The kid is an AMAZING ATHLETE (so was Rix, but Lee actually has actual brain cells).

Sorry......I just can't stand the canes. Lifelong FSU fan, so I am a bit biased.
