Default GPW + yellow stain

Hi,

I keep having yellow stain mark around the exhaust areas on my rear bumper. It is really difficult to get off!!! Only claybar and diluted paint thinner seem to remove it without rubbing too much.

I do have a decat with HKS exhaust. It started after I fitted the HKS even before decating. And I use Zaino if that helps.

Does anyone else have the same problem? Anyone know what is causing this? Is it my exhaust, zaino, ? How can I stop the staining?

Any help appreciated.

from what i've seen its appears to be the combo of gaseous exhaust fumes with a thin clearcoat.. always a bad combo.

gpw does tend to get it there and just under the gas cap.

get it cleaned, coated then a small piece of 3M clear noseguard from an installer can be cut and fit .. maybe try to find an installer ?

If you are running a test pipe the rear bumper turns brown/yellow pretty quick. It's the emissions causing the discoloration.

Every month or so I'll clean my rear bumper with a good paint cleaner. Then do the regular Zaino treatment after.
