This is the first time I have posted to this site.
I have a 2005 that I managed to buy a couple of months before Hurricane Katrina hit here in New Orleans. I was fortunate enough to save my car minus some superficial damage. The problem recently has been road debris. A piece of wood came off the back of a truck and hit my grill breaking it loose from the nose section. Does anyone know of a company that makes aftermarket grills. The nose is fine and I can't see replacing the entire nose to have a grill reattached. The local Honda dealership looked it up and told me it is sold as part of the nose piece only. I am hoping someone here has already had to deal with this and came up with a solution.
That grill can be purchased as a separate item. It's held on by little clips but it must be accessed after you take the bumper off the car - not a real terrible job. I don't think it's that expensive either.
