I just finished washing my car in the rain as it got tagged by some bird. I am feeling pretty dumb right now and thought I would find out if anyone else had washed their car in the rain.

actually rain is not a bad place to wash- not likely to get water spots, and it sure wont dry too quickly!!
i have washed the car in light rain and then moved into the garage to dry... and of course drove another car after the wash until the weather improved!

I know someone who started to wash his car in the rain. It really started to pour, so he left the car with suds on it and went to sleep. Well, the temps dipped into the 20s overnight, and he woke up to find a car with frozen soap bubbles all over it!

I wash my cars in the rain! Washing them in the rain allows me a very nice slow pace because I'm not in a hurry to rinse off a section after I have it all soapy. I also like the fact that I don't have to rub so hard to get the splattered, baked-on bugs off the front. I then drive them into the garage and dry them off.

Every once in a while I wash my truck in the rain. It is tall and difficult to get to the top and the rain allows me a casual pace. Once it is rinsed it just sits there in the rain, the days of drying it off I'm afraid are gone.

I rinsed my car off in the rain to remove the excess mud. I drove it in the garage to let it dry. The next morning I had a ton of water spots all over the car. I immediately gave it 2 washes but did not remove the water spots. Then I used the clay bar(Zaino), and suprisingly they came off.

My whole family used to wash our cars in the rain growing up. Works great since you don't have to worry about the pace as mentioned and you shouldn't have any water spots. Now if it would just rain around here!
