Help With Interior "luster"
i'd always been using meguiars wipes and a clean terry cloth to wipe down my interior (just started using meguiars leather cleaner/conditioner as well pm seats). Unfortunately my car is an outdoor car and is exposed to harmful UV rays and hot fresno heat. It's starting to look a lil dull and listless, any advice on how to bring back that like new shine?
i ordered 303 protectorant for the vinyl top, would that work to bring back some of that shine in the interior?
Also would light tint on windows work on keepin out the heat, has anyone use v-kool?

I'd only use 303 on the vinyl bits and pieces including the top. I spray it on a pad and then apply it heavy to the dash, plastic pieces and top. After a few minutes I go back over it with micro fiber towel to dry up the excess. This way also takes care of any streaking.
An easy to find product for leather is the Lexol cleaner and Lexol conditioner. Zaino and Townsend is also very good stuff but you need to order that online.
Direct sunlight and the interior heat damage your interior. Any product that cuts out light or heat will help.

Cannonbear:
It sounds like you are experiencing UV damage from the sun in your interior, as the car is not garaged. You should know that 303 is good for leather too, and the label says so. It will protect your leather from UV rays with a rating of SP40 (just like the sunburn protectors we use at the beach). I have used it on the black perforated leather on my s2k, and the light grey perforated leather on my MB C320 with no problem. I've used many leather care products, and I think I like using 303 best. After all, it provides REAL UV protection, not just some superficial shine.
Hope this helps,
Richard
