Default Help with leather stain

Trying to help my buddy out.
He had a bottle of wine in his Acura TL, the bottle somehow leaked and now he has small quarter size stain of red wine.

What would be the best way to address this problem. I tried lexol already and it did nothing.

I would move your question to the leather questions thread. This way the local leather expert can answer it for you.

Well....I know, from bio class, that ammonia turns red wine, into white wine (thus, killing your stain)....It destroys the tannins, which make the wine red. However, I do not know what effect this would have on the leather dye. Someone who knows leather needs to answer that.
