how to clean dirty headliner?

my sedan has gray headliner and it's quite dirty & stained. if i can really clean the headliner, my car will look 10x better. but what can i use to clean it?? some sort of a steam-vac?? ?? plz help!

do you know what the stains are?
might not be able to get them out, but can make them better...

what is the material???
