Default How to clean headliner?

Hey there just wondering how do you guys clean different types of headliners? What types of tools and cleaners are used? Would a foaming carpet cleaner do the trick? ANy info would be appreciated.

depends on the material... an exotic leather is diff from a vinyl, for example.

for most headliners, an all purpose cleaner does the job- and for most the cleaner should be diluted. but i wouldnt use that on alcantara, for example!

thanks wanabe, I was thinking about using some type of brush on a cloth type headliner?? I was thinking of using a microfiber but i dont want those cloth balls (the tiny cotton balls that are on your sock) to appear on the roofliner.
