Default how do i remove sun baked spots from paint?

it is only on the plastic rear spoiler, those 2 small plastic pieces behind the rear window and a little bit on the front bumper.

appears like prior owner washed with hard water then it baked in the sun...

i tried regular old wax and claybar and it did nothing.

any suggestions?

thanks!!!!

polish is your only chance...
can you catch an edge of the marks with your fingernail?
if so, you have bad etching- prob cant get rid of those, but can make them much better.
if you cant catch an edge, then you should be able to get them out with a polish.
wax is not a solution for your problem... but it is needed after you do the repair. any product that can remove spots will remove all wax too.
got pics?
catch an edge?

Waxing over them will only make you seal them in and make it harder for you to remove down the road.

Cleaner should remove the spot if it's not too bad, then follow up with polish and wax over to protect the area. My black Prelude was covered with water spots that I could feel because I parked @ friends house and hard water frim sprinklers went all over the car.

I had heart attack, but 3 days later Cleaner, Polish and some elbow grease made the car look brand new again.

hey... the Polishing Compound did not do the trick..... would I try Rubbing Compound or is that too harsh? Maybe I should just take the car to the local detailer???

i suck at this.

Medium cut cleaner is what works for me. But im starting to think you might need to use a PC Or Orbital Buffer to get them out.

Scot, this isn't Off Topic. The people in here are real humans. Where are your manners?

I'm done in here, sorry Wanabe.
