Any advice?
I took off my windshield tape and on the top frame I got a little to eager and made a few marks in the clear coat that look like I was rubbing too hard. Any way to get them out?
Thanks.

I used my 3M Swirl Mark Remover to get scratches out of my car's finish and it works great. Try this link: Scratch Removal
walkabt...I used the scratch X on my black car and it worked great! My only advice is that you really have to rub hard, make sure you rub perpendicular to the sratch, and it's gonna take some time. Just keep rubbing and applying more of the stuff and you'll be fine. The scratch I had was fairly deep in the clear coat and now it's gone!!
another good summary that gives you a choice as to whether you use a machine, or do it by hand:

WARNING!
Do this only if you are comfortable with the possibilities.
WARNING!
I recently received a scratch roughly 9-12" and deep enough to be immune to meguirs, polish, rubbing compound, etc. (courtesy of one of my children and a bike)
The scratch could be felt by a fingernail.
Find some 2000 grit sandpaper, your favorite swirl/scratch remover, favorite polish, polishing rags, cloths, etc.
step 1 Use the 2000 grit to sand the clearcoat smooth to the level of the scratch...Carefully! (water is an effective lubricant and helps one with seeing how far they have sanded).
step 2 Use swirl/scratch remover or rubbing compund to remove sanding marks (haze), might need a high speed polishing wheel at this point (CAUTION again)
step 2a Use a finer gritted remover to remove marks from compound.
step 3 Polish/wax
Worked BEAUTIFULLY for me, my wife no longer has to threaten our children when they look at the car!

good summary of the process-
i suggest first trying the swirl/scratch remover first if the scratch is not to the metal. i have had pretty good luck getting scratches without sanding (and sanding can always be done after using a swirl/scratch remover if that doesnt work).
