Any of the various bug/tar remover products should do the trick. Be sure to re-wax/zaino/whatever the car after.

Goo Gone is your best bet or an adhesive remover, just make sure its safe for automotive paints.. and be prepared to spend some time getting it all off

I bought goo gone and it doesnt work to good. I am scared to leave it on to long because the back says may ruin some automotive paint. I will try the fishing line trick.
Thanks

WD40 is also a good way to break down goo/tar/sap. Spray it on, let it soak for a few, then clean it off, and polish/re-wax.

WD-40 or bug/tar remover would be your best bet. Goo Gone isn't all that great for anything.

Goo Gone is weak. Use 3M adhesive remover - it WILL work

Did this last week. Used a heat gun, Dental floss doubled, goo gone, old credit card.
