Wait until your order of Zaino arrives (you already ordered it, right?). Anyway, I waxed my s2k with conventional wax when I first got it, then switched to Zaino after I found out about it. The problem is I still have the conventional wax that crept into crevices in the lights, seams, mouldings, etc. that are very hard to remove and may be stuck in there for the life of the car. Zaino not only leaves a nice buttery finish, but it is much better at not leaving leftovers in hard to reach places.

You've already waited enough.

With my Prelude I have had good luck with Finish First. I really like how easy it is to apply. Is Zaino as easy to apply and is it that much better?

My girlfriends dad manages a body, so from the experts...most modern cars are baked at the factory to cure the paint. This combined with the month an S2000 takes to get to the US means that the paint is ready as it ever will be. So go get some of your favorite wax and shine away.

TypeSH,

I also use Finish First and am quite pleased with the results. I'm going against the majority of S2000 owners, but I would say use the Finish First. This is a very volatile subject here on this board (the type of wax/polish one chooses to use).

Personally, I can't see how many applications of several different formulas is going to be easier than the Finish First.

Whatever YOU decide to use, use it now and don't wait any longer.

Enjoy your new car,
Bob

Congrats on getting a beautiful car, I know you're proud if it!

I have yet to put a coat of wax on mine, but I live in a less-than dusty clime (Virginia) . I believe everyone here is all about Zaino, though!
