ive never seen hologram or buffer trails from a Orbital Buffer such as the PC. A rotary will produce holograms or trails, but not a pc. The only possibilities I can think of are, 1. if you moved the buffer really fast and didnt let the orbital do its job correctly, or 2. didnt finish properly to get down to the finer polish and jumped from a heavy cut to a finishing polish.
Even if he jumped from a heavy cut polish, to a finish polish on a PC it's most likely not even causing micromaring like it would if he were using a PC. I've done that before when I first started, and all it did was not give me the results I wanted.. i.e. there wasn't a lot of correction being done. I guess if he broke down the polish and worked it so much that it was basically dry pad on paint that it would cause the finish to micromar and give the appearance of holograms, but even so I still find it very hard to believe that there was any sort of micromaring or holograming encountered in his situation.

i started with micro polish and orange pad, them applied the zaino with a black pad, followed by p21s with blue pad. They look like the pic provided by SpecC but not nearly as bad, I tried takening a pic but the didn't show up. Im almost thinking that it might be left over residue from P21s...

if that's the case, a mixture of isopropyl and water at 50/50 will take away the wax and strip any in the area, so you can rewax. if the marks go away, then you know what you're dealing with

[QUOTE=espelirS2K,Oct 22 2008, 07:16 PM]You shouldn't even be producing enough heat with a PC to cause hologramming.

prob fixed!!!! After i washed the car, most of the holograms dissapeared, which leaves me to beleive that it was left over residue. I went ahead and applied another caot of zaino and WALLLA! Thanks to everyone who chimed in!!!! I was going insane, looking at my "Not Perfect" car....

[QUOTE]
We would need to see pics, but I HIGHLY doubt still that there were holograms.
