I'm still using Mean Green for a tire cleaner because I can still get it for $5/gallon. If there is any brake dust left on the wheels after the Mean Green wash, I use Sonax Wheel cleaner. I have not yet seen any damage to the clearcoat from the Sonax or the Mean Green. Wheels get Zaino Clearcoat Polish and tire sidewalls get Zaino UV protectant after everything is clean. Tire tread sometimes gets treated with Formula V.

I enjoy the color of clean, dry, tires. I also enjoy the increased lateral grip that a non-tire shined tire shoulder gives.
