Default How to remove wax

Hello, guys.
I'm kinda new to this wash & wax forum, and I have a question to ask.

I bought my car in Jan. '07 and recently found a wax spot that's been left over by the dealer.
I know it's from the dealer, cuz I didn't use carnuba wax on my car before.
It's almost rock-solid now, and scratching it with my finger nail didn't remove it.

How do I remove this?
I searched, but couldn't find a related topic.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Thanks

Dan

welcome to your new home dan!!

lotsa choices to remove wax...
but if you are just doing a spot, clay would prob be the easiest of the choices.

i do wonder if its really wax though if you cant scratch it. got any pics that you could post up?

IPA 1:1 its cheap and works well.

Or you can use any of the wax remover from DG which also works well.

Thanks for the warm welcome, and all the answers!

Yes, I think it is the wax.
I've got a small spot right next to the windshield washer nozzle, one on the drivers door(right ON the edge of the character line that runs thru), and another one at the edge of the trunk(really hard to spot, but I know it's there )

I even tried using a credit card to scratch it off, but was afraid I might damage the paint so I didn't try that hard.

I don't have a picture of it, but I'll try to snap a few if I get a chance.
Again, thanks for the help.
