NXT car wash
Eagle one car wash
an assortment of Armorall products
etc....you get the point

I want to make my car blinding shiny!

ive been doin some research on zaino....should i go the zaino route? if not what are recommended product combinations?

how is your paint?
if its swirl free, you can go directly to zaino-

if you have swirls and any surface imperfection, you would want to polish first.

i like zaino topped with p21s... and its just an opinion, but its my fav shine!

get some pics up and then pm me so you can be recognized as a true wacko with a wacko badge!

I had no experience with an orbital, but seriously, after 10 minutes, you feel really good with it. So long as you keep it below the highest setting, there is close to no chance anything bad will happen. Do not fear it at all!

I use:
1. Meg's Gold Class car wash
2. no brand preference for claybar
3. Meg's quick detailer
4. P21s cleansing lotion (if just going to wax)
5. Menzerna Power Gloss (if fixing problems)
6. Menzerna Final Polish II (after fixing problems)
7. P21s wax

I apply most stuff with my PC7424 using Lake County pads. Its really sad that the best picture of the shine it gave my Suzuka Blue S2k is the picture from the rear after the car was totaled:

See the bottom right of the car (the reflection of the rocks) and the driver side for the shine quality.

Davizzle, Congrats on the UDM purchase! I have a PC and have been thinking of getting one or the Cylco, but haven't been polishing much lately enough to justify. Please let us know what you think of it! For sure, it will save you hours of hand polishing and is almost idiot proof...
Have you ever used a PC (for comparison)?

As far as Zaino, I think it's one of the best routes to go. I've only used Meguairs Gold before that and noticed the same shine (Sebring S2k and Black Ford Explorer) but Zaino lasted MUCH longer. I haven't used anything else since I switched. Menzerna Polish is also great because it's water based (if I rememebr correctly) and is easy to clean up.

I would stay away from Amor-All products for plastic. I've had bad experiences with it cracking vinyl on my dashboard after years of deligent cleaning and use. I currently use 303 for interior vinyls/plastic and Raggtop protectant, not 303 on the Soft top (Bought from Modifry-s2ki sponsor). I've experienced 303 ALWAYS running onto my windows after every rain or wash... maybe I shouldn't have "brushed" it on

Best pictures I have of the shine on my s are when I wrecked it too....

Just got her back too. I feel like something is missing between my cross member, and my front bumper.... Gunna post a picture of it later on here for some confirmation... I feel like its missing a piece of plastic or something...

Can anyone post a picture of theirs real quick?

After I totaled my car.. at the tow yard, they referred to it as "the shiny car." I guess that's something!
