I just picked up a Meguiars Dual-Action Polisher. The detail shop said it was a good polisher. Anyone else using it? I also got a bunch of other things needed to go along with the polisher.

Thanks for the info. I am a beginner so maybe thats why they recommended this polisher for me. I have used other orbital buffers but never got to serious into detailing. I want to change that now. Hopefully soon i can have my Wacko badge.

what's the name of the place you got the stuff from? I can't read all the names due to the size of the picture. Meg's touts their polisher like no tomorrow. Most people on here get the PC.

Let us know how you like it. Looks like you got some good stuff though. The Mirror Glaze line is decent. I have a few products from that line myself.

Looks like you're on to a good start... might want to pick up a few more polishing pads though

The Wheel Brightener is the S^%T! Works really good, just don't leave it on too long, but rinse it off and re apply as needed, agitate with a brush, rinse again. I follow up with s quick dose of soapy water to neutralize it, just in case...

And there's really no need to use it at a stronger dilution ratio than 4:1--it's REALLY strong stuff

oh and don't forget to use gloves! I use the housewife-style rubber gloves that cover half the forearm, and I probably should be using a mask... oh well...

So i finally got around to detailing my car. With all the stuff i bought i was a little anxious. I tried to get some good pics but was a little impatient with it being a 107 degree weather.
